Staff Reporter :Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Hoque said it was ultimately proved that none of the law enforcement agencies did arrest BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed. “Now, it is proved through the conversation of Hasina Ahmed, wife of BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed, that her husband was not kidnapped by the law enforcing agencies,” the IGP said while talking to the reporters at Police Headquarters.The IGP said, “Police had been searching for him soon after his disappearance. There are several cases against him. The court also had issued arrest warrant against him.”Answering to a question, the IGP further said, “We will thoroughly investigate how and when he [Salahuddin] went to India.”
