Former governor of Bangladesh Bank (BB) Dr Mohammad Farashuddin said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, is implementing the dream of her father through application of information technology (IT).
“After the War of Liberation, Bangabandhu made a development plan giving highest importance to socio-economic development of poor people of the country. And his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is accelerating the pace of materialization of the plan through using information communication technology,” Farashuddin, also the then private secretary to Bangabandhu, said in an interview with BSS.
