Staff Reporter :The Government has appointed Cabinet Division Additional Secretary Istiaque Ahmad Chairman of Petrobangla.Istiaque Ahmad is a BCS recruit of 1984 batch. The Public Administration Ministry issued the order on Wednesday.He has been in the Cabinet Division for the last 11 years.He will be replacing Professor Hossain Monsur, who was appointed Petrobangla chairman in August 2010.An additional secretary of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Nazim Uddin Chowdhury, was given additional charge as chairman after Monsur’s term ended last Sunday.
