The first death anniversary of Lenin Gani, a renowned sports journalist and senior member of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA), will be observed today (Friday).
On May 23 last year, Lenin Gani, who started his career as a sports journalist in the Daily Star, passed away due to cardiac ailments at the age of 46 years in London.
He also worked in The New Age, Morning Sun, Daily Sun and BD News24.Com as sports editor. A Doa and Milad Mahfil will be held today at Gani’s Biyanibazar home in Sylhet district after Jum’a prayer.
