The conflict between Israel and Palestinian has divided the world but China’s pragmatic stand recently is commendable indeed while the stand by newly formed unity government in Israel led by Prime Minister Naftali Bennet is equally praiseworthy who turned down West Bank annexation bill proposed by Likud party lawmaker Miki Zohar in the Parliament on July 19 this year. There is no doubt that international law would not permit annexation of the West Bank to Israel. Likud Party lawmaker in fact criticized Yamina and New Hope political parties to side with the Prime Minister.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi criticized the United States of preventing Security Council from issuing unified statement on the situation prevailing in Israel. China in fact holds the opinion that escalation situation in East Jerusalem could be attributed to police of Israel who have exercised excessive brutality while dealing with Palestinian demonstrators on May 6 this year. China presided over in the security council of the United Nations in May this year. China is reported to have said during recent conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza strip US blocked UN Security Council resolution three times while condemned Hamas rocket throwing into Israel.
Meanwhile, more than 4oo European Parliamentarian have in fact through a letter urged leaders to urge President of the United States Joseph Biden to stop what they term Israel’s de facto annexation of the occupied West Bank, apart from rectifying the wrong Middle East policy adopted by immediate past President of USA Donald Trump which left the conflict further away from peace than ever. European parliamentarians are of the opinion that former President of USA broke much of the international consensus over Israel-Palestinian conflict. European Parliamentarians think that Biden administration should avail of the chance to correct the course in the Middle East. European union in fact hold the opinion that Palestinian reconciliation and election across all the Palestinian territories is vital, including as basis for ending the isolation of Gaza Strip.
For the first time 73 lawmakers of Democratic Party of the United States came forward to urge President Joseph Biden to make a number of moves to reverse what they call Trump administration’s abandonment of long standing bipartisan policy on a two state solution while requesting that he formally withdraw the Trump peace plan.
Having received King of Jordan Abdullah on 18 July at the White House, President Joseph Biden is reported to have expressed desire to pursue Israel for the solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict while Jordan has engaged with a new unity government in Israel.
Since the departure of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhahu of Israel having served a decade the process of reconciling between Palestinian and Israel is bitter.
As a matter of fact, Jewish should recalled holocaust in Germany and massacres in Soviet Union in 1939-1949 known as pogrom while they were treated well by the Muslims, including in Mecca during the rule of Prophet Muhammad (SM) whose wife was also Jew.
Since departure from the scene by former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyhahu who was responsible to derail the peace process between Israeli and Paletinian as stated by former two term President of USA Bill Clinton on September 22 in 2011.
Now there is hardly any reason to dispute to live together Israeli and Palestinian side by side.
