Mohammad Ismail, Additional Secretary (Retd), has joined as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) recently.
He was Chairman and CEO of BADC and Chief Controller of Imports & Exports and also served as Deputy Commissioner. He served as District Officer in East Timor under the UN.
He obtained MSc with BSc (Hons.) and LLB from the University of Dhaka. He completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Economics & Social Studies from the University of Manchester, UK.
Mohammad Ismail hails from Nizgalua village under Rajapur Upazila of Jhalakathi district.
