Noted Islamic thinker, Director-General of AL-Janiyatul Emdadia Madrasa, Kishoreganj, Principal AL-Hajj Maulana Md. Azhar Ali Anwar Shah died at Ibn-Sina hospital in the city on Wednesday evening. He was 74.
He left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death. His Namaz-e-Janaza was held at the historic Sholakia Eidgah ground on Thursday noon.
