The Islamic Foundation (IF) on Friday organised, doa-mahfil and recitation of the holy Quran at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, marking the Martyred Intellectuals Day.The doa mahfil sought eternal peace of the martyred intellectuals’ souls who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country, said a press release. The foundation also sought eternal peace of the souls of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who was the architecture of the independent Bangladesh and martyred freedom fighters of Liberation War.
