Islami Bank Banladesh Limited has opened its 303rd Branch at Singair of Manikganj on Sunday.
Engr Mustafa Anwar, Chairman of the bank, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.
Presided over by Md Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan, FCA, Deputy Managing Director, the inaugural ceremony was addressed by Md Mosharrof Hossain, Executive Vice President and head of Development Wing and Md. Kawsar ul Alam, Executive Vice President and Head of Dhaka North Zone of the bank.
Md Shahajahan Munshi, Assistant General Manager, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Abdul Khaleque, former Chairman, Balodhara Union, Akram Hossain, Head Master of Singair Pilot High School, Md Nuruddin, Principal of Singair University College, Laily Begum, woman enterprenurer, among others spoke on the occasion. Local traders, professionals, ulemas, bank officials and elite attended the inaugural ceremony.
Earlier a seminar titled “Superiority and Success of Islami Banking” was held on December 19, 2015 in the branch premise on the occasion of branch opening.
