Ishwardi Thana Police organized separate discussion meetings and cultural programs at Railway Junction Station premises and Dashuria Highway Thana premises on Sunday on the occasion of historic 7th March and recommendation of the United Nations for transition of Bangladesh from LDC to a developing country.
Pabna-4 MP Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas, Rajshahi Range Office Superintendent of Police Belayet Hossain, Railway Pakshi District Police SP Shahabuddin, Railway Dhaka Headquarters Crime and Operations SP Tofail Ahmed and Pabna Additional Superintendent of Police Pabna were present as chief guests on the occasion. Additional Superintendent of Police Firoz Kabir, Upazila Chairman Alhaj Naib Ali Biswas, Municipal Mayor Ishaq Ali Malitha, Upazila Nirbahi Officer PM Imrul Kayes.
Ishwardi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Asaduzzaman, Railway Police Officer-in-Charge Gopar Kumar Karmakar and Moniruzzaman presided over the separate discussion. League President Habibul Islam Hubbul, District Council Member Saiful Islam Babu Mandal, Murad Ali Malitha, Ishwardi Upazila Press Club President Touhid Akter Panna, various UP chairmen and other police officers and members. The program was made memorable by singing, dancing and reciting poems till late at night.
Thousands of spectators enjoyed these events. On the occasion of the discussion meeting on March 7, the Prime Minister’s virtual speech was served at Ganobhaban through information technology. Cakes were cut and flowers were sprinkled on the occasion to make everyone happy.
