Rice has been distributed among the victims of natural calamities and corona virus at the initiative of Ishwardi Municipal Council.
Bir Muktijoddha Nuruzzaman Biswas, Member of Parliament for Pabna-4 constituency, was the chief guest at the rice distribution function held at the municipality premises on Wednesday (June 30).
Municipality Secretary Ishaq Ali Malitha presided over the rice distribution ceremony, which was attended by Municipal Secretary Zahurul Haque, all councilors and officials.
20 kg of rice was distributed among 150 affected families.
