On the occasion of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, in the second phase of the third phase, 60 more landless and homeless families in Ishwardi Upazila got houses with land as a gift from the Prime Minister.
On Thursday (July 21) at 10 am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina connected virtually from Ganabhaban and handed over these gift houses to the homeless people in 5 upazilas of the country. Ishwardi upazila has been declared landless and homeless free in the virtual ceremony of the Prime Minister.

The chief guest was the Member of Parliament of Pabna-4 Constituency, brave freedom fighter Alhaj Nuruzzaman Biswas. Pabna Deputy Commissioner Biswas Russell Hossain, Upazila Chairman Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Naib Ali Biswas, Municipal Mayor Isaac Ali Malitha, Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Khan, Atia Ferdous Kakli were special guests on the occasion. Upazila project implementation officer Touhidul Islam including brave freedom fighters, government officials, journalists and people.
Meanwhile, MP Nuruzzaman Biswas said that honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the privileged daughter of the father of the nation, is working tirelessly to provide a better life to the people of Bangladesh on the one hand, and on the other hand, she is fulfilling her father’s dream by giving houses to the homeless and helpless people with government funds.
