According to the decision of the ministry, arrangements will be made to open the Ishwardiman port on a priority basis to attract Russian investment, said State Minister for Private Aviation and Tourism Adv. Mahbub Ali, MP.
He said this while inspecting the runway of Ishwardi Airport at 10.15 pm on Friday. Former Home Minister Adv. Shamsul Haque Tuku MP, Pabna-4 MP Nuruzzaman Biswas, reserved women’s MP Nadira Yasmin Jolly, Secretary to the Ministry of Private Aviation and Tourism Mokammel Hossain, Chairman of Tourism Abdul Hannan and other senior officials were present. Earlier, the state minister addressed a reception hosted by Ishwardi Upazila Awami League at the local Khairuzzaman Babu Bus Terminal as the chief guest.
The meeting was chaired by Ishwardi Upazila Awami League president Naib Ali Biswas, former home minister Adv Shamsul Haque Tuku MP, Pabna-4 MP Nuruzzaman Biswas, reserved women’s seat MP Nadira Yasmin Jolly and Ishwardi Upazila Awami League general secretary Abul Kalam Azad.
Mentioning that no conspirator will be spared as per the directives of Sheikh Hasina, the state minister said in his speech as the chief guest, the whole country was plunged in darkness after 75 years.
