The ITF Asian Under-14 Development Championship, Division-1 Competition, organised by Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand, will be held in Bangkok on March 14-27.
Bangladesh player Mohammad Ishtiaque was included in the Division-1 competition to play in the prestigious Asian Junior meet. The ITF confirmed it to Bangladesh Tennis Federation through an e-mail on Thursday.
The ITF formed the Division-1 team considering the performances and results of the Division -2 competition of the ITF Asian Junior Championship.
The ITF will bear the entire expenses of Ishtiaque, including air fare, food and lodging in Bangkok from its Grand Slum Development fund.
Earlier, two Bangladeshi players-Henry Pitul Mondal and M Delwar Hossain-represented the country in the ITF Asian meet.
