Ishita’s play for Valentine’s Day

For the last one decade, popular TV actress Rumana Rashid Ishita acted in those plays which stories and characters were liked by her. In fact, it is seen that round the year, Ishita acted in a single play. Last year she was seen to act in an awareness creating play titled Aguner Nonajol. Film actor Riaz acted against her in the play. Then she was engaged with music. She along with her son Zaveer rendered late Lucky Akhand’s popular song Abar Elo Je Sondhya with new composition.
Listeners were impressed with rendering styles of both mother and son. On the occasion of coming Valentine’s Day, Ishita acted in a special play titled Keno, directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi. Asif Iqbal wrote story of the play. According to Ishita, it is a romantic story based play. Shooting of the play has already been done.
While talking about Ishita director Himi said, “I am really astonished and impressed with Ishita Apu’s acting. She acted fantastically well.”
Ishita shared her feelings by this way, “I have interest about acting but in case of TV play, its story and character must be preferable to me. Keno is a romantic story based play. Himi tried his level best to give direction of the play. Viewers will get some exceptionality in my role. I believe viewers will enjoy the play.”
Mehazabien Chowdhury and Tausif Mahbub also acted in the play Keno.
Ishita’s son Zaveer Dowla is 10 years old who is studying in Class-V in a private school. Zaveer is receiving training to play guitar from Suja Islam. Ishita’s last released song was Aamar Obhiman.
