Celebrated popular TV actress Rumana Rashid Ishita was seen to act in several numbers of special dramas and telefilms for last few years. In 2019, Ishita was last seen to render song. On that year, Ishita rendered song titled Aamar Obhiman was released. Lutfor Hasan wrote lyrics and also composed music of the song. More than 15 lakh viewers watched this song on YouTube channel till now. After this song, Ishita
didn’t render any more song.
While this correspondent talking with her, Ishita said, “Now my full engagement is with family works. Few days ago, I have finalised a solo original track of mine. I have liked lyrics and music composition of this song. But right now I don’t want to disclose more in this regard because at first, I want to complete the work successfully. After giving voice, I will make a music video of the song by own way.”
Ishita also informed that this time she will not release her song under the banner of any production house. She wants to release her upcoming song on own YouTube channel.
The actress last acted in Ashfaque Nipun’s drama Iti Maa and Mizanur Rahman Aryan’s drama Not Out. Then Ishita did not see to act in any other drama for many years. Many years ago, Ishita acted in Abdullah Al Mamun directed movie Bihongo.
As a director, Ishita also got appreciation from the viewers for making several numbers of dramas. But for many years she is totally absent for making drama. The actress did not give any assurance when she will return to give direction of drama. But she told this correspondent that very soon she will be seen acting in drama. In the meantime, she will be also seen in some good songs, said Ishita.
