Agency :Pacer Ishant Sharma has been picked as a replacement for injured medium-pacer Mohit Sharma in India squad for the remainder of the one-day international series against West Indies. India lost the first ODI at Kochi by 124 runs and are trailing 0-1 in the five-match series.”Mohit Sharma has aggravated his bilateral shin injury, and has therefore been ruled out of the ongoing Micromax Cup, India vs West Indies ODI series, 2014,” said a BCCI statement on Friday.”The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Ishant Sharma as his replacement in the Indian squad.”Ishant is making a comeback in the ODIs after missing a bilateral series in Bangladesh, the Asia Cup and the one-day series in England. The last ODI he played was in January against New Zealand.
