Earlier under the film director Dewan Nazmul’s direction popular TV actress Ishana acted in a drama serial. This time under Sanjib Das’s direction Ishana has started shooting of a drama serial titled Somporko, which script is written by Dewan Nazmul. This week shooting of the serial began in the city’s Uttara area’s a shooting house. Ishana is acting in role of Ratri in the serial while Dewan Nazmul, Shelly Ahsan, Rose, Sohan Khan, Snigdha Srabon, Heera, Rusha, among others, are also acting in other roles.
While talking about acting in the new drama serial Ishana told this correspondent, “Story of the serial revolves with a family story. Nazmul Bhai has tried to portray a family story nicely in the serial. I was serious about acting in my role and I also enjoyed my work. When the serial will go on air viewers will enjoy it.”
Director of the serial informed that it will be aired in any satellite channel soon.
Meanwhile, Ishana has already finished shooting of RTV’s ongoing serial Somoyer Golpo with Australian expatriate Bangladeshi Sharif Chowdhury. Topu Khan has made the serial.
Earlier, Ishana started shooting of serial Chirokumari Songho under Bhubon and Refat’s direction.
Ishana also informed that she has already taken part in shooting of Jewel Sharif directed BTV’s seven-episode serial Japito Jibon. Manosh Banerjee and Chhonda are co-actors of Ishana in this serial.
Therefore, under Jahangir Alam Sumon’s direction Ishana is also acting in mega serial DB. Yesterday she took part in shooting of the serial in capital’s Priyanka Shooting House, she added.
In last year’s Eid, Ishana’s acting was appreciated against Mosharraf Karim in drama Somshed directed by Maruf Mithu.
