In the journey of acting, actresses always work with newcomer actors. Specially when any co-actor becomes new there must have challenge for the actress. Popular TV actress Ishana has been engaged with acting for many days. For the first time, she worked with Australian expatriate host and model Sarrief Chowdhury in a TV play. Though journey of Sarrief in media is not new but experience of working with Ishana is new.
Ishana and Sarrief worked together in Topu Khan directed RTV’s ongoing play Somoyer Golpo. Shooting of the play was done in the city’s Uttara area recently.
Sarrief Chowdhury has been working in media since 2005. He started his career as a host. He regularly hosted on ATN Bangla, RTV and Channel 1. Later, he also performed as a model in TV commercials. He also worked as brand ambassador of country’s different reputed companies. Till now he acted in three plays under Mohon Khan’s direction and one under BU Shuvo’s direction. Later, he went to Australia. In 2011, he worked as network engineer at National Broadband Network (NBN) in Australia. After returning country, he started acting.
Ishana said, “Earlier with Sarrief I took part in a photo shoot of an organization. For the first time I worked with him in a play. He is not only a talented actor but also a friendly co-actor.”
