Now-a-days, single episode or faction plays are being made on the occasion of special days. Therefore, satellite channels do not show keen interest to telecast single episode plays. As a result, actors are showing more interest to work in TV serials now. Among popular TV actresses, Mounita Khan Ishana is passing busy days to act in TV serials besides working in single episode plays. Last two weeks she was engaged with shooting of four plays.
These plays are: Prachcho Polash’s Bhromon, Mohiuddin Masum’s Shodh, Tariq Swapan’s Midnight Guest and Delwar Hossain Dil’s Shesh Prapti. Mir Sabbir, Shahed, Samina Chowdhury and Naim worked as her co-actors in these plays respectively.
While talking about her performances in these plays Ishana told this correspondent, “In fact, I am passing very joyful days now. Besides working in serials, I am giving times to single plays. Stories of all these four plays were really nice. There is no similarity in my roles in these plays. I hope viewers will enjoy my performances in these plays. Now I am more serious in acting rather than previous times. I want to establish myself as a reputed actress in media.”
Ishana also informed that these new plays will be aired in different satellite channels soon.
Ishana acted several serials – Kaisar Ahmed’s Sohojatri and Yes Madam No Sir, Sabur Khan’s Daag, Syed Shakil’s Samrat, Irani Biswas’ Moner Janala and Ashim Gomez’s Ferari Janala – are being aired in different channels now.
