Ishrat Jahan Isha started her career in media through the performance on theatre play. She was attached with Arambag Theatre for two years at a time. To establish herself and also to develop her skill in acting she was attached with this theatre group. In the TV screen, she first acted in Firoz directed serial Ei Bari O Bari. Later she acted in a telefilm titled Otithi.
Besides acting, Isha also performed as model in some renowned TVC makers like Ilias Kollol, Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Shahid Raihan, Anjam Masud, among others. At one stage, she showed keen interest to work in big screen. She acted in FI Manik’s movie Chirodin-e Ami Tomar, Abul Khayer Bulbul’s Abujh Prem and PA Kajol’s movie Boro Loker Jamai. But she did not enjoy working in movies. For this reason, Isha started to engage with acting in small screen.
For the last two years, Isha gave more time to TV plays and serials. She is regular acting in ATN Bangla’s ongoing serial Neer Khonjey Gungchil. She is now acting in RTV’s mega serial Noashal. She also acted in Faridul Hasan’s serial Bashontipur. Now she also worked under Animesh Aich, Topu Khan and Nazmul Roni directed three separate faction plays.
While talking in this regard Isha told this correspondent, “I want to be an actress from my heart and soul. Besides acting, I also want to perform as model in TVCs. I am grateful to them who co-operated me in my journey in media. In future, I will also get their support.”
Today is Isha’s birthday. On this day, she wants to pass time by own way. She is daughter of Md Alamgir Hossain and Kohinur Begum but they are not alive now. So, Isha wants to step forward in the long run to love acting, she also said.
