Ideal School and College Guardians Forum (ISCGF) on Thursday postponed its strike which was scheduled for August 16, demanding cancellation of extra fees.
ISCGF Chairman and Guardian Alliance Forum President Ziaul Kabir Dulu announced the decision at a press conference in the National Press Club yesterday.
Founder General Secretary of ISCGF Md Selim Uddin and Engineer Fahim Uddin Ahmed, Abdul Ahad, Abul Kalam and Sawkot Alam were present at the programme, among others.
Ziaul Kabir Dulu said that the organization took the decision after getting assurance from the Ideal School and College authorities as they would not charge any extra fees.
Ziaul Kabir Dulu demanded improvement of educational quality and establishment of academic atmosphere on the campus.
He also requested the authorities not to make Ideal school and college a commercial institution.
