Various complaints have been made against Feni District Education Officer Kazi Salim Ullah. The victims have already filed a written complaint against him with the concerned authorities.
It is known that Kazi Salim Ullah joined the post of Feni District Education Officer on November 28, 2018. Since then he became reckless. He controlled everything alone by forming a syndicate. Abuse of power, irregularity-corruption, harassment, recruitment trade, secret committee, working in their district in violation of government rules and Jamaat affiliation, the victims including the employees of the district education office, teachers’ associations and teachers of various institutions, the victims are the secretary, director general of the directorate of secondary and higher education.
And complained in writing to the District Commissioner at various times. In the light of two separate complaints, the Deputy Commissioner Abu Salim Mahmud-ul Hasan sent a letter to the Deputy Director of the Chittagong Regional Office of the Secondary and Higher Education Department to take necessary action against the education officer in a memorandum signed on July 27 this year. But no action has been taken yet.
According to the rules, there is no rule for a government employee to stay in the same district for more than 3 years. But Kazi Salim Ullah has been in good health for almost 4 years in his district Feni. The district education officer bought land in the name of his wife on Pathan Bari road of Feni town and constructed a multi-storeyed house with the money of irregularities, corruption and bribes. Besides, it is known that he has invested bribe money in various business establishments anonymously.
A head teacher, who did not want to be named, said that the behavior of the district education officer is very bad. Not only that, he has to pay bribe for any file. Sometimes he takes bribe money himself. And sometimes through assistants. Otherwise the file gets stuck.
