Noted TV actor Ahsan Habib Nasim had been elected General Secretary of the Actors’ Unity for second time which election was held on June 21. After the election, he became busy with his works. As a part of its continuation, Nasim has finished shooting of an Eid drama titled Short Time Lover on July 6. Jakir Hossain Ujjal wrote story of the drama.
Nasim acted in role of promising actress Affri Selina’s brother in the drama. Affri acted against popular face of the small screen Irfan Sajjad. By profession Nasim and Irfan Sajjad are established actors in media. On the other hand, Affri Selina is trying to establish herself now. For this reason, she is very much eager to work in good roles. Short Time Lover is such drama for Affri Selina.
However, from yesterday Irfan Sajjad and Affri Selina started shooting of a drama titled Mistake under Tasdik Shahriar’s direction. They are now taking part in shooting of the drama at Khonikaloy in the capital’s Uttara area. Today its shooting will be finished. Four years ago, Affri and Irfan first worked together in a drama. After a break, they worked together in two dramas at a time.
Affri Selina said, “Nasim Bhai is my favourite and respectable person. He is also a noted actor. In Short Time Lover, he acted in role of my elder brother. It was my first work with him. He is so much co-operative and polite which really impressed me. I really enjoyed working with him.”
Ahsan Habib Nasim said, “Story of Short Time Lover is nice. So, I really enjoyed working in the drama. Both Affri Selina and Irfan Sajjad performed well in the drama. Tania Ahmed also acted in an important role in the drama.”
Irfan Sajjad shared his feelings by this way, “Affri acted well in this play. If she continues her devotion to acting she will obviously do better.”
