T20 series: Ireland A level series 1-1 with Bangladesh A

Hosts Ireland A leveled the three-match unofficial T20 series 1-1 beating Bangladesh A team by 51 runs in the rain-interrupted 2nd match at the Village in Dublin on Thursday.
The match was washed out without a single ball being bowled on Wednesday and rescheduled for Thursday as per the consent of the two participating teams.
The 2nd string Bangladesh team, which took 1-0 lead beating their Irish rivals by four wickets in the first T20, will play the 3rd and last T20 match on Friday at Malahide Cricket Club Ground in Dublin to decide the fate of the series.
Sent in to bat first in the day’s match, hosts Ireland scored a huge total of 202 runs for 6 in stipulated 20 overs featuring good batting by opener Stuart Thompson (47 runs), one down William Porterfield (45), Gareth Delany (37) and Kevin O Brien (30).
Mohammad Saifuddin of Bangladesh captured three wickets for 33 runs while Taijul Islam took two 27 runs.
In reply, Bangladesh scored 104 runs for 7 in 15 overs before the match was washed out for rain. Finally, Ireland A were declared winners by 51 runs under DLS method.
For the 2nd string Bangladesh team, lower order Nayeem Hasan (24), Mohammad Saifuddin (15), Mominul Haque (14), Zakir Hasan (14), Al Amin (12) and Soumya Sarkar (11) were notable batsmen reaching the double digit.
David Delany and Andy McBrine took two wickets each conceding 15 and 25 runs respectively.
