Fatemeh Makhdoumi’s hat-trick with four goals helped Iran notched a 11-0 victory against Singapore in their Group-C battles of the six-nation AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017 Qualifiers at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
With this big margin victory, Iran collected 9 points from four matches with three-win and one loss.
Earlier, Iran started their campaign in the meet with 3-0 loss against host Bangladesh while secured victories over Kyrgyzstan and United Arab Emirates by 9-0 and 5-0 goals respectively.
On the way to her hat-trick in the day’s match, midfielder Makhdoumi scored in the 23rd, 69th, 71st and 84th minutes.
Forward Fatemeh Ghasemi netted two goals in the 11th and 13th minutes while medio Roghayeh Jalal Nasab also added two goals in the 22nd and 39th minutes.
Forward Maryam Mohammadi, captain Hanieh Khodaparasti and substitute forward Fatemeh Daeinia scored one goals each in the 15th 79th and 85th minutes.
Iranian side was reduced to 10-player in the 42nd minute as their forward Fatemeh Ghasemi got marching order following a direct red card, but before that they managed 6 goals to dominate the first half.
The group champions of the previous edition Qualifiers Iran will play their 5th and last match against a favorite side Chinese Taipei at the same venue on Monday.
