Under the banner of Impress Telefilm Ltd popular play director Irani Biswas has made a special telefilm titled Rokto Lekha on the occasion of ensuing Kazi Nazrul Islam’s birth anniversary on May 25.
While talking about the play Irani Biswas said, “It was not an easy task to make any play which story is based on Kazi Nazrul Islam’s a poem titled Aamar Koifiot. I also wrote script of the telefilm which is an adaptation of Nazrul’s poem. I have tried my level best to make the telefilm successfully regarding appropriately apllying Nazrul’s poem. Tariq Anam Khan acted in a special role in the play. Nilanjona Nila, Rimu Roja Khondaker, Obak Rahman, Washiqur, Chanchal Saikot, SM Mohsin, Liza Khanom, among others, acted in different roles in the telefilm. Its shooting was held in different locations in Narayanganj.”
