Iran’s national football team will play Bahrain at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on June 7, Iran Daily reported on Saturday. The Asian Qualifiers were halted in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Iran currently sit third in Group C with six points, trailing group leaders Iraq and Bahrain by five and three points respectively, albeit with a game in hand.
