Iqbal stresses unity of journos to resist militancy

Media Advisor to the Prime Minister Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury urges journalists to get united irrespective of opinions to resist the terrorism and militancy in the country.
 He disclosed it while addressing the views exchanging meeting with the journalists at press club here on Tuesday.
 He said the election of the apex body of the journalists ended recently and there should not be any disopinions among the journalists.
He said we are members of pro-liberation forces and hence we should be united in all respect and unity among us is essential.
He mentioned the glorious role of the journalists of Chittagong in early days.
 He further mentioned that the sculpture of Bangabandhu for the first time erected in Chittagong Press Club and we should pay respect to him, he added.
He further disclosed that Prime Minister will announce the 9th wage board very shortly.
 Prsident of CUJ Reaz Haider presided over the meeting duly attended by President of Chittagong Press Club Kalim Sarwar, former President Abu Sufian, Vice President BFUJ Sahidul Alam, Secretary of CUJ Mohammad Ali, former President Ali Abbas, former president of CUJ Azizul Islam Bhuyia , Secretary of CPC Mohsin Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
