The 12th Dhaka International Plastics, Packaging and Printing Industry Fair and the 12th Bangladesh International Foodtech and Bakery Industry Fair, dubbed together as IPF 2017, are slated to run from Feb. 15-18 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC), said a press release.
More than 400 exhibitors and an estimate of over 11,000 trade visitors are expected to help galvanize the annual event, organized by Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA), Chan Chao Int’l Co, Ltd and Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co, Ltd, into a powerful platform for extensive business contacts and fruitful business exchanges among all the parties associated with the entire industrial chains, the release said.
The exhibitors are coming from 14 countries and regions, namely Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, Thailand and Vietnam, They will use 1,250 sqm more in exhibition space than IPF 2016 to showcase a wide range of industrial machinery, materials and finished products covering all the related industrial sectors.
Numerous international brands in the sectors will highlight their latest products and technologies at the show. Among them, SACMI from Italy will exhibit beverage packaging machines such as drink filler and molding machinery; GUR-IS MAKINA from Turkey will demonstrate modern plastic bag making machines with high performance; and SHENG FOONG from Malaysia will showcase recycled HDPE for the production of HDPE pipes.
