IPDC Finance Limited (IPDC), has recently signed an agreement with Enroute International Limited (EIL) for rolling out e-learning course on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating Financing of Terrorism (CFT), which is first of its kind in Bangladesh.
IPDC MD and CEO Mominul Islam and EIL MD and CEO Abu Daud Khan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in Dhaka recently.
The agreement will promote Sudoksho, an initiative of EIL, the first specialized e-learning course in the country on “Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism” in Bangla. IPDC was the key strategic and knowledge partner for this great initiative.
IPDC, the leading non banking financial institution in Bangladesh, also becomes the first one to roll out the e-learning course on AML and CFT offered by Sudoksho.
Sudoksho, is a robust digital platform for learning and capacity development both for individual and organization. Taking from the CAMLCO Conference 2017, Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) established by Bangladesh Bank and all NBFI’s had taken the decision to not only regularly update AML/CFT policies, procedures but also initiate e-learning.
After months of discussion with the leading researchers, industry specialists, subject matter experts and academicians from the country’s best institutions, a specialized e-learning course on AML & CFT was established incorporating BFIU guidelines and case studies with local context examples.
