Awami League Presidium Member Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim on Saturday said that the country is now on the highway of development. It is happened due to the steps of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The country might not develop in this pace, if Sheikh Hasina is not in the power.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare Ministry made the statement while addressing at the opening of Toyo Feed Limited, a concern of the Dhaka Group, at International Convention Center of Basundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on the day.
Toy Feed Limited is producing additive free poultry, cattle and fish feed ‘DG Feed’ in the country. As a result, the feed will not damage public or animal health at all.
Calling upon the businessmen to invest in cattle, poultry and hatchery sector, Sheikh Selim said the government has given emphasis in this sector as Bangladesh can fulfill its demand of protein and nutrition from own production. To ensure it, the government has given various incentives.
Toyo Feed’s Managing Director Abul Kalam Azad chaired the programme while State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Narayan Chandra Chanda, FBCCI President Abdul Matlub Ahmad, South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank Managing Director Rafiqul Islam, BEPZA’s former member AKM Mahbubur Rahman and Dhaka Group’s Chair Person Sadia Saba also spoke on the occasion.
