Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, MP, in a message condoled the death of Risalat Ahmed, former Director General of Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Additional Secretary to the government of Bangladesh.
Ahmed breathed his last in the early hours of September 21 at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka. He was 75.
In his message, the minister said that he was deeply shocked at the loss of an old friend.
Inu extended sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
