Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu Sunday said his ministry under the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been able to play its due role for the welfare of the country.
He said tremendous infrastructure development has been witnessed in different offices under the ministry and its affiliated departments during the last five years.
The minister said this while presiding over the revised review meeting of Annual Development Programme (ADP) at his ministry at Secretariat here.
The meeting reviewed progress and implementation works of 11 uplift projects under ADP of last 2013-14 financial year and undertook a work plan for the current 2014-15 fiscal for ADP implementation.
The meeting was told that Taka 106.23 crore out of total Taka 107.60 crore was spent for 11 ADP projects in the last fiscal.
