UNB, Dhaka :
Terming the BNP chairperson a ‘suspected serial killer’, Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Wednesday urged all to say ‘no’ to Khaleda Zia and thus save the country from militancy and terrorism.
He made the comments while taking floor on the thanksgiving motion on the speech of President in parliament in the evening.
Taking a swipe at those who have been pressing for dialogue over the current political stalemate, Inu, also president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, alleged that the advocates of dialogue want permanent
anarchy in the country. He said, “Khaleda Zia is no longer a political leader rather a terrorist. On the other hand, BNP is not a political party rather a terrorist gang.”
Khaleda wants to demolish everything like a tornado, Inu claimed, adding that if she wins the current war, then Bangladesh would turn into a country like Pakistan or Afghanistan while terrorist outfits like IS and Boko Haram would emerge in the country.
Inu went on saying, “If Khaleda grabs power, Bangladesh would be skidded off the magical pace of development while there would be international interference. This is the question of the existence of Bangladesh and we can’t let that happen.”
