Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Saturday said the politically devastated BNP-Jamaat has now resorted to attacking innocent people and killing bloggers as their last bid to flex muscle.
“The devastated Jamaat-BNP is now attacking bloggers. The same thing happened during the Liberation War when the Pakistani occupation forces had started attacking innocent people and women when their defeat was looming,” he said.
The Information Minister made the remarks while talking to reporters after attending a programme at Baggaripara Primary School in Bheramara upazila at noon.
Inu said, “Now defeated Begum Zia, militants and the ruined Jamaat are killing innocent people as their last bid. They’re actually trying to destroy the atmosphere of different opinions and the freedom of expression by killing bloggers,” he said.
