School of Law, Canadian University of Bangladesh organized an ‘Intra Departmental Moot Court Competition-2017’ on Saturday at the University auditorium. Prof William H Derrenger, Vice Chancellor, CUB inaugurated the competition while Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, Founder and Chairman, Canadian University of Bangladesh was the Chief Guest. Barrister Sayma Tahmid, Lecturer, School of Law conducted the opening ceremony of the competition.
AKM Morshed, District and Sessions Judge (Retd) and Md. Belayet Hossain, District and Sessions Judge (Retd) were present on the occasion as the Judge. Four teams of the program of Law, Canadian University of Bangladesh participated in this competition. Among others, Brig Gen Md. Asaduzzaman Subhani (Retd), Registrar, Abdullah- Al- Monzur Hussain, Assistant Profesor and Coordinator, School of Law, Md. Latiful Khabir, Assistant Professor, School of Business and Head of Student Service Wing and students were also present in the occasion.
