A daylong international workshop on “Black Carbon Emission from Brick Kilns in Bangladesh” jointly organized by the Department of Chemistry of Dhaka University (DU) and US States Department & ARCADIS USA was held on Sunday at the MukarramHossainKhondkerBigganBhaban of Dhaka University.
Dean of the Faculty of Science of DU Prof Dr Mohammad Abdul Aziz inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest. Chairperson of the Department of Chemistry Prof Dr Nilufar Nahar presided over the inaugural session while Vice President of ARCADIS USA DrWojciech Jozewich and Department of States Representative of US Embassy, Dhaka Oliver Geraud addressed it as special guests.
