A three-day international travel and tourism fair will start on April 19 with the support of national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) is organizing the “Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair 2018”, the country’s largest tourism fair, to be held at Bangabandhu International Convention Centre (BICC).
To this end, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for title sponsorship was signed recently between Biman and TOAB at Biman Head Office “Balaka” in the capital, a press release said.
Director Marketing and Sales of Biman Bangladesh Airlines M Ali Ahsan Babu and Director (Trade & Fair) of TOAB Md Taslim Amin Shovon signed the MoU.
Ahsan said as a national carrier, Biman believes that its responsibility is to promote the country’s tourism. Biman will offer discounts on its different routes centering the fair, he added.
