Int’l summer school of human rights begins at DIU

A 5-day long ‘International Summer School of Human Rights’ jointly organized by Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW), Knowledge Steez, India and Daffodil International University (DIU) began at Daffodil International University on Sunday. Dr Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, DIU inaugurated the program at 71 Milonayoton of the university as chief guest.
Presided over Major General (Ret) Md. Firdaus Mian, Chief Adviser of Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) the program was also addressed by Prof Dr Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU, Niteesh Kumar Upadhyay, Assistant Professor of Galgotia University and Founder of Knowledge Steez and Dr Farhana Helal Mehtab, Associate Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of DIU. The program was conducted by Director, Administration and Member, Legal Department, Institution of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW).
In this summer school 11 participants and delegates came from India and Nepal and 30 participants attend from Bangladesh. They will attend many workshop and seminar on this summer program.
Dr Md. Sabur Khan said, Today’s world is passing a crisis period of human rights and he blamed present education system for this crisis as our education system has failed to grow our child as human being.
He mentioned that only human beings have the controlling mechanism of their activities.
He further stated that good governance is not only the part of human rights but also the result of practicing human rights in daily life activities.
He remarked that present education system is more or less liable for this crisis. So we need to change this situation, he added.
He thanked Daffodil International University to be a proud partner of this time befitting program.
Major General (Ret) Md. Firdaus Mian said that Prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) throughout his whole life fought for mankind and establishing human rights. He also advised His followers to established human rights.
