An international seminar titled ‘Music and Performing Arts as the Exposition of Lalon’s Philosophy’ held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday.
English Department of the university organized the seminar at Rabindra-Nazrul Arts building’s around 11:30am on the campus.
IU vice chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari present here as the chief guest and pro-vice chancellor Prof Dr M Shahinoor Rahman attended as special guest.
Reina Rodina van dar Meer, research fellow from university of Humanistic Studies, Netherland described Laon’s folk song as the keynote presenter while Prof Dr M Mamunur Rahman of the department addressed as the discussant here.
Prof Dr Mussammad Salma Sultana chairman of the department presided over while Prof Dr Miah M Rashiduzzam of the department conducted the seminar.
