Two-day International Orthodontic Symposium and Training programme “Next Generation Orthodontics” began yesterday at Krishibid Institution, Bangladesh (KIB) convention centre in city’s Farmgate area.
Bangladesh Orthodontic Society (BOS) organised the programme, said a press release.
Professor Emadul Haque was the chief guest of the symposium while BOS President Professor Zakir Hossain presided over the inaugural session. Prof. Gazi Shamim delivered the welcome speech.
Prof. Zakir said, “This symposium is a great opportunity for the participants to update the
current knowledge of Orthodontic techniques”.
President of Asia Pacific Orthodontic Society (APOS) Professor Nikhilesh Vaid and Professor Meghna Vandekar of Mumbai, India delivered their speech on contemporary Orthodontics techniques.
Around 200 qualified Orthodontists, post-graduates, trainees are attending the programme.
