Int’l online gaming contest launched in Bangladesh

Robi and Airtel launched first ever international online gaming competition in Bangladesh dubbed it as a “Game Hero” in collaboration with its parent company, Axiata Group.
In addition to Bangladesh, this competition is being held in Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Indonesia and Malaysia organized by the respective operating companies of Axiata, said a press release on Monday.
The winners from Bangladesh will represent Bangladesh in the regional level completion to be held in Malaysia at the end of this year.
The winners of the competition in Bangladesh will receive gift items worth approximately Taka 2.5 lakh.
In order to participate in the competition, gamers will have to play, Free Fire- an exciting game.
Gamers will have to subscribe to Axiata Game Hero by visiting http://www.gamehero.asia/bd/ for registering in the competition. Subscription fee for playing the game is only Taka 5 (Excluding Supplementary Duty, VAT & Surcharge). The registration will be renewed daily until unregistered.
The Game Hero competition in Bangladesh will take place in two phases. In the first stage, the participants have to play as a solo player and score will be automatically uploaded to the solo leader board.
