UNB, Dhaka :It is rare in Bangladesh to find a singer who did not sing a song on ‘mother’ sharing love, respect and sorrow, sowing the seeds of eternity. But for the firsttime, a group of Bangladeshi youngsters have come up with a song titled ‘Mother’ in seven languages, including Bangla, dedicating it to mothers across the world.The song with a video edition will officially be launched globally on Mother’s Day that falls on Sunday.”With this song, we want to show respect to mothers across the world. This song is dedicated to all the mothers,” Nabid Salehin Niloy, who coordinated the initiative, told UNB.Its singers are Joy Shahriar (Bangla), Aatif Sayeed (Hindi), Nora (German), Stephen Danniel (French), Yorgo Elka (Arabic), Alexander Shakhov (Russian) and Stephanie Forryan (English).Farhad played piano and Niloy was on Bass guitar, while Nora played violin in the song arranged in Aajob Records studio.Lyric of the song was written by Joy Shahriar (Bangla part), Stephanie Forryan (English) and Nora Kudrjawizki (rest of the parts). Nora composed the song, while Niloy, Farhad and Nora made the music arrangements.In Bangla, the song goes like this: ‘Tomar jonno deekhechi alo, chuyechi ei dhoroni, tomar jonno akash patal, oronno pahar nodi, mago tumi amar prithibi’, while the Hindi version is: ‘Teri bin meri jindegi be range hey, sob kuch hay agar tu sang hay’.Earlier, Niloy and his friends released the famous song ‘Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano Ekushey February’ into 12 languages together marking the International Mother Language Day this year.Niloy earned both the appreciation and criticisms after the release of the song connecting singers from 11 countries apart from Bangladeshi singers paying respect to the language martyrs in a different way.
