zShah Amanat International Airport to resume international flight operations after a long time as the flight operations remain suspended due to endemic corona. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on yesterday issued instructions to resume international flights at the country’s second-largest airport.
Asked about this, Farhad Hossain Khan, Wing Commander, Shah Amanat International Airport, said, “I have received instructions for landing and taking off international flights from Tuesday (August 18).” However, it depends on the state-owned Biman Bangladesh Airlines and private airlines. They will operate flights to international destinations if they find passengers.
In response to a question, he said that the flight must be operated in accordance with the Covid Test Certificate, Corona Vaccine Certificate and other international rules and regulations imposed on the Corona situation. We have taken necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of the passengers at the airport.
