A two-day “International Conference for Bankers and Academics 2016” will begin on Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) premises on September 25.
BIBM and Australian Academy of Business and Social Sciences in Association with Journal of Developing Areas, Tennessee State University USA, are organising the conference, said a press release.
Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir will inaugurate the conference as the chief guest while former BB governor Professor Dr Mohammed Farashuddin will deliver the keynote speech.
BIBM Director General Dr Toufic Ahmad Choudhury will preside over the conference.
The inauguration will be followed by presentation of about 50 research papers by scholars in different fields.
On the second day, three high-quality professional workshops are scheduled to be held where leading experts would present papers.
