Int’l confce on sustainable dev ends at UIU

The three-day long International Conference on Sustainable Development ended on Saturday.
United International University (UIU) organised the seminar started on February 16 on its Dhanmondi campus.
The conference focused on 16 themes, “Sustainable Livelihoods, Climate Change Adaptation, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Renewable Energy, Extreme Poverty Alleviation, Disaster Management, Green Business, Green Banking, Sustainable Finance, Green Cities and Human Settlements, Good Governance, Migration, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, Gender and Development, Coastal Zone Management, Integrated Water Resources Management. Conference accommodates 84 scientific papers from home and abroad for presentation.”
Vice-Chairperson of BRAC Professor Dr Ahmed Mushtaque Raza Chowdhury and UIU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr M Rezwan Khan addressed the programme, among others.
