An international conference on ‘Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and His Legacy’ concluded recently at Jahangirnagar University (JU). University Grants Commission Chairman Prof Kazi Shahidullah was present as the chief guest while former Vice-Chancellor of Rabindra Bharati University Prof. Dr. Pabitra Sarkar chaired the conference.
Addressing the conference, Prof Shahidullah said, “More research should be conducted on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman”
Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank and Bangabandhu Chair Professor of Dhaka University Dr. Atiur Rahman presented a paper on ‘Bangabandhu’s aesthetic leadership and his campaign for people’s emancipation.’
