Popular TV actress Tareen Jahan last year got the RTV-Star Award for acting in liberation war based special play titled Punoscho Joyeeta. Sraboni Ferdous made the play. Under same director’s direction Tareen again acted in a special play titled Anahuto which has been made on the occasion of coming International Women’s Day. Shooting of the play began on February 24 and it will be wrapped up today.
Shahed Ali, Sushoma Sarkar and Tanjin Tisha also acted in other important roles in the play.
While talking about making the play and story its director said that if there is absence of love, affection, respect and responsibilities among husband and wife there must have crisis in conjugal life which will also hamper the life of their children at a time. In our high society, it is often seen that husband tortures his wife mentally and physically but his wife does not disclose. In the story of the play, Tareen protests the matter and she left her family. At one stage, when Tareen’s daughter going to marry, husband and wife come in front of each other. Story of the play continues with climax. This play will be telecast on RTV on March 8.
While talking about acting in this play Tareen told this correspondent, “Earlier I worked under Sraboni Ferdous’ direction. Her story telling is good so viewers show their interest to watch her plays. Story telling of this play is also nice. When its script is organised actors can easily perform there. While working with Sraboni I always felt it. I am very much optimistic about the play.”
Shahed Ali said, “It was my first work with Sraboni. Earlier I worked with Tareen under Gias Uddin Selim and Shanta Rahman’s direction. Story of this play superb. So, all of us enjoyed working in the play.”
Sushoma shared her feelings by this way, “It is a contemporary story based play so we enjoyed a lot to work in this play. I am inspired to act in a good story based play.”
