The Walton International Rating Chess Competition starts today at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
Bangladesh Chess Federation has arranged the chess tournament and Walton is the sponsor of the chess meet.
A total of 140 chess players are taking part in the eight-day long chess competition.
The competition will be held on nine round Swiss-League System basis.
A total of Tk one lakh and twenty thousand will be distributed among the winners.
